The Ground Lock is an aircraft security device designed to prevent unauthorized use of aircraft by isolating the main aircraft battery from the electrical system. The lock components are custom manufactured by Medeco® a leader in the high security lock industry, encapsulated in a Delrin™ insulator. The result is a no-compromise aircraft security solution.
The Ground Lock complies with the United States Transportation Security Administrations “Security Guidelines for General Aviation Airports” Information Publication A-001.
The Ground Lock is approved by the New Jersey Department of Transportation as one part of the state required “two-lock system”. |

Ground Lock lock components are custom manufactured by Medeco® a leader in the high security lock industry. Connector interface components are precision machined from tool steel and heat treated for durability. The lock assembly is encapsulated in a Delrin™ insulator for electrical safety.

Ground Locks can be keyed alike when multiple locks are purchased.

Ground Lock can be custom pinned to match your Medeco® aircraft locks.

Ground Lock serial numbers and key codes are registered with JMR Earl, Inc. for optimum security.
Ground Lock is billed at $349.95 per lock and includes two keys. For security purposes, Ground Locks pinned to existing Medeco® aircraft locks do not include keys. Shipping and handling are additional. Applicable sales tax will be incurred on New York State purchases. |
